About ORBIT TVET College
ORBIT College is one of the North West Province’s three public TVET colleges. The mission of public TVET Colleges is to steadily increase the number of students enrolled and trained in priority and vital skills areas, putting TVET Colleges at the forefront of skills development and, more specifically, the South African artisan development agenda.
This refers to providing the unemployed (particularly youth who are not in education, employment, or training, or NEETs) with the necessary skills to help them overcome poverty and the economic challenges of unemployment.

Orbit TVET College’s academic board has officially released the application forms for potential students to apply for admission to the university.
SENIOR STUDENT APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
- Your application must be completed ONLINE via the student i-Enabler on your smartphone, tablet, or computer, using your PIN and student number to log in.
- You must submit your application twice: First and foremost, you must be admitted to the next round of your application (e.g If you are currently enrolled for Engineering N1, then you must apply for admission to Engineering N2)
- Second, you must apply for admission to the level in which you are currently enrolled. (For example, if you are enrolled in Engineering N1, you must apply for Engineering N1 again.) There will be no final approvals made during the APPLICATION process.
- Your application’s status will be determined by your n/’al results as well as the College’s selection criteria. Approvals will be granted only after DHET results have been received, after which you will be eligible to REGISTER ONLINE. You will be notified through SMS whether you have been provisionally accepted or not if you match the requirements.
- Please double-check that the phone number you enter is correct.
- Admission to DHET is based on academic perfo;’rmance and class attendance, thus there is no certainty that your spot will be reserved.
