ORBIT TVET College Online Registration
Brief on ORBIT TVET College
In the North West Province, ORBIT College is one of three public TVET colleges. The mandate of public TVET Colleges is to steadily increase the number of students enrolled and trained in priority and vital skills areas, placing TVET Colleges at the forefront of skills development and, more specifically, the South African artisan development agenda.
This refers to providing the unemployed (particularly youth who are not in education, employment, or training, or NEETs) with the necessary skills to overcome poverty and the economic problem of unemployment.
Public TVET Colleges are specifically focused on addressing SA’s skills shortages by providing relevant and responsive vocational and occupational programs. Umalusi ensures the quality of vocational programs, while the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations ensures the quality of occupational programs (QCTO).
